    The lemon cure

    The objective of this cure is to proceed to a great cleansing of the liver, especially during the changes of season. Lemon stimulates the production of bile, which plays a central role in the elimination of waste from the body and the digestion of fats. Ideal after the winter to eliminate the excesses of a diet often very fatty during this season. But this cure can also be followed at any time of the year, especially at the approach of winter for example, because lemon also helps to strengthen the immune system.

    Unlike the grape or soup cure, the lemon cure is not a monodiet. The principle is not to eat only lemon or lemon juice, but to integrate this citrus fruit in a sufficiently large quantity into one's diet for a few days.

    For an even more complete detox action, add a touch of honey, a pinch of cinnamon and ginger to your lemon juice.

    The 9-day detox program

    Start the day by drinking a plain lemon juice with a little water every morning on an empty stomach. Wait 30 minutes before eating breakfast.

    Citron en rondelle

    Gradually increase the number of lemons consumed until the 5th day and then decrease in the same way until the 9th and last day :

    • Day 1 : juice of 1 lemon;
    • Day 2 : juice of 2 lemons;
    • Day 3 : juice of 3 lemons;
    • Day 4 : juice of 4 lemons;
    • Day 5 : juice of 5 lemons;
    • D6 : juice of 4 lemons;
    • D7 : juice of 3 lemons;
    • D8 : juice of 2 lemons;
    • D9 : juice of 1 lemon.

    After the cure, you can keep this good habit of drinking a glass of lemon juice diluted in a little water every morning on an empty stomach for at least 30 minutes.
